Dia has just released the second episode of Windows Wednesdays, a series where the company details progress on the Windows version of the browser. This update talks about the Morning Brief feature.

The episode kicks off with a subtle teaser for what’s to come, showing a pop-up (floating window) at the bottom-right corner. This pop-up is later revealed to be “Morning Brief.”

Think of Morning Brief as an AI-powered “daily digest” from Dia. It aggregates information from your calendar, Slack, emails, and past browsing history and delivers this “Brief” to you every morning. It’s worth noting that it isn’t an entirely new feature since it already exists on macOS. It’s just being built for Windows now.

It’s a simpler overview of a rough day plan. It suggests specific schedules, updates, and also prioritizes and highlights important tasks. It can pull information from your connected apps such as Slack.

This feature is not the only progress that Dia has made. Over 2500 who applied for the Windows beta have been let in. If you’re interested, you can fill out this form for a chance at early access.

It’s not just a rough claim from the company that people have been let in either. Posts on Reddit confirm this, as you can view below. If you have been accepted as an early tester for Dia (Windows), you’ll receive an email.

For those unaware of the entire thing, Dia recently announced that the Windows version of the browser is slated for a fall 2026 release. Now, fall of 2026 could mean anything between the end of September and the beginning of December, so we don’t have a pinpoint date yet. They also announced this “Windows Wednesdays” series, which would detail the company’s progress every week.
