I will break it down for you.
1. Your solo fandom should be bigger than your shipper fandoms.
You have more shipper fandoms than solo fandoms. The fact that your fans are still divided into Ahad and Sahad fandoms, Bilshan shippers, Sujalal shippers, etc., shows that your individual identity is getting lost somewhere.
One thing is that your fans also represent, directly or indirectly, the emotions and things you want to portray. You yourself seem to promote shipping more than your characters. Your solo arc, your characters and your individual branding should come first. Your identity should be built around the strong solo characters you choose.
But when your edits, reposts and promotions are more about shipping than your individual character's dialogues, scenes and journey, your dramas and even your entire personality become associated with shipping rather than your solo identity.
2. Your social media presence needs to evolve.
The third thing is how you connect with your fans. Social media is how people get to know you. You have already established yourself as a good actor and earned fame. Isse zyada aap kya karoge? Establish yourself as the best actress? You need to up your social media game because people want to connect with you and know more about you through social media.
BTS followed the same strategy. They knew that no matter how much talent they showed or how many things they did, marketing, social media presence, expressions and charm would enhance their reach. Posting on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram would help them reach more people. It's smart work alongside talent.
That's why I keep sending you expressions, Daisy 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. I was reposting Korean content as well. Expressions are a skill. It's all muscles. Everything is a muscle, everything is a skill. You need to learn and practise.
Aap jis environment mein rehte ho, ya jo cheezein karte rehte ho, aap waise hi banne lag jaate ho. We humans have that adaptability. So how about instead of just going with the flow, you choose what you want to become?
You can't keep giving yourself the excuse ke mere saath aise hua tha. But now you keep telling yourself the same story every day, and eventually it becomes your self-concept, self-identity and personal narrative. Change the story, change the script, change the actions. The story will change.
1. Build a huge social media presence around your own personality.
Because look, a huge social media presence needs to be your priority. Remember when you gave that Manto ke time wala interview? The fact that your face looked so small, your features were so toned, the overall aesthetics, your radiance, clean and clear skin, and the way you were soft-spoken. It's all a visual thing na. Woh interview kitna hit hua tha.
If you keep giving these types of glimpses on social media, through reels and apni chhoti-chhoti clips, people will gradually start becoming fans of your personality. That's how you create your own solo fandom. That's how you establish your individual identity.
2. Stop making your identity revolve around characters and shipping.
Your inner personality should reflect in your social media presence, your behaviour and the way you connect with people. Your fans should also get to see that side of you.
The fact is, people should celebrate the characters you've played in Yakeen Ka Safar, Yeh Mera Dil and whatever other dramas you've done. But people actually end up celebrating the ships you were part of, be it Anna or others.
Now people might be against supporting Ahad with Yumna, so they'll shift towards supporting Danial and Rabia's characters instead. So your characters become more about the ships rather than your individual performances.
3. Your on-air promotions influence what fans remember.
The way you promote your characters and ships while the shows are on air stays in fans' memories. Aapne Zanjeerain ke time apni ek solo reel bhi post nahi ki thi. Rarely. You were so invested in Sarbiya. And you've followed the same pattern with other shows as well.
Fans remember what you repeatedly highlight and promote. If you keep giving shipping more visibility than your individual personality, characters and solo content, naturally your fandom will revolve around those ships.
You need to make people interested in YOU, not just the characters you play or the co-stars you work with.
4. Work on your expressions, voice and social confidence.
Apni expressions skills better karo aur social media game up karo. People should get to see those cute little habits of yours. Chupke Se Bahar Aajaye mein aapki itni pyari harkatein, Gul-e-Rana mein aapka itne pyare tareeqe se baat karna, and Chupke Se Bahar mein aapka baat karne ka itna cute tareeqa. Adopt those habits and show those sides of yourself.
Social media is also a performance at the end of the day. And be creative. Cinematography! Aap bolte ho I have an artist in me. Why not show that through 30-second or one-minute cinematic stories?
Filhaal seven or eight days hain, aap shooting ke liye ja rahe ho. Go fit karo, apna face small karo. Mujhe small face, slender back chahiye. Koi filter wilter nahi. Aap ho jaayega.
Gym karo jaake. Filhaal ye karo. PR ke liye, apni marketing ke liye, invest money wisely. Har brand aur har cheez ke liye available hone ki zaroorat nahi hai. Thodi der ke liye aao, but make that appearance memorable. Charming expressions aur charming tareeqe se present hona will leave a much stronger impression in people's minds.
5. Practise, record, repeat and review.
Privately improve your expression skills. Record, repeat, review.
Khana khate waqt bhi giggle, jo aapne practise ki hui hai, uske saath karo. And your new expressions jo aapne seekhe hain, unko mirror mein check karo. Then record yourself. Woh pakke ho jaayenge.
Then socialize, socialize, socialize.
Apni jo helpers hain, unke saath woh cheezein karo. Female friends ke saath karo. Staff ke saath karo. Very easy and comfortable people, jin ke saamne aap khul ke apne naye expressions aur skills practise kar sakte ho.
Is tarah aapki training abilities develop hongi aur woh expressions naturally aane lagenge. Phir jab aap kisi aur ke saamne perform karoge, you won't feel as conscious because you've already practised them around other people.
Jo comfortable log hain, unke saath train karo. Apne naye expressions aur voice ko consciously practise karo. Openly express karne se social anxiety bhi kam hoti hai aur aap socially comfortable hote jaate ho.
Phir jab aap publicly perform karoge, those expressions and that voice will come naturally because you've already trained yourself to use them around people.
